Morgon 2003*

Created in 1920, this wine company remained family: it is directed by Jean-Jacques Baronnat, grandson of the founder. Two wines of the Beaujolais wine were retained: Cote de Brouilly 2003, quoted and this dark garnet-red Morgon mixing with the nose with intense perfumes with red fruits and the amyl notes. Flavours of yellow peach fill the palate. Young tannins encourage to keep this bottle  for aging two to three years in cellar.

Morgon 2000 -
Beaujolais-Villages et Brouilly
This wine company located at Gleizé, 30 kilometers north from LYON , proposed three wines, all are selected by our wine guide: in the year 2000 one finds two wines: a vintage Morgon of this producer is quoted, the Beaujolais-Villages  wine receives a star reward, and the garnet-red Brouilly, two stars reward. Raspberry perfumes and flowers of a good intensity accompany a round and flexible mouth. Combining smoothness and power, this elegant and persistent wine is ready, but it can age two years.

Morgon
With a beautiful color intense ruby, the brilliant dress and the nose still closed but where can find a note of oak,  slightly timbered and balanced well, an original note. In spite of an astringent feeling, the bottle should evolve well.
